They call me Lo. I'm a human who lives on planet Earth and always with my imaginary dog. I dedicate myself to creating images, drawing them, painting them, and somehow materializing them. Visual synthesis for complex feelings, for which I don't always find the right words. I explore stories in the faces and figures of the people I observe. Stories that haven't always happened. Enough material to get me started.
Lorena Martínez Carbajal
Born in 1978. Grew up in Bilbao, Spain. I've been living in Germany since 2015. I started painting graffiti on the streets and then studied visual communication and advertising (Bilbao) and graphic design (Madrid).
I worked in that field for several years, eventually founding with two partners in 2006 our own communication studio in Bilbao. In 2015, I put this project aside to further develop my art career.
From 2015 to 2019, I studied at the Freie Kunstakademie Frankfurt (Frankfurt). That year I started to study art at the Universitat Operta de Catalunya (Barcelona), compliting also an internship in the studio of the artist Oliver Carlos Tüchsen (Frankfurt).
We founded in 2024 the group "All You Can Draw," dedicated to drawing sessions.
In 2025, I completed my art studies and am currently a member of the advisory board of the association Die Palette Frankfurt e.V., where we organize various exhibitions and art events.
